Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's sons was born in Woodland Hills in 1956. Her family consisted of her mother, who was household worker and father who taught. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick started singing and performing at a very young age. When she was just six years old, young, she took home an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency approached her and asked her whether she'd be interested in entering the show business. McCormick found her first role as a major actress in the year 1964. She was featured in an advertisement for Mattels the newest doll baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in the firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately cast in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp and ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 200 auditioned kids, played the oldest of three double-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) with Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The series lasted 5 years. McCormick said in her book from 2008 Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice she almost losing her virginity in the fifth season with Barry Williams, her co-star and brother on screen. The time was when she was 16 and he was 19. She said but the timing wasn't right for us.
