Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox was a student at Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for 3 years. Her budget was supplemented by a stipend for students and part-time work. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance compared to her student classmates and contemplated a possible alternative route she could take. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. However, she left prior to her group being requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. From 1977 until 1980, she was the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British pop group. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. It became a huge critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top soul jazz blues tracks from early childhood. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. The first single from her debut album"Now I'm Letting You Go... is the soundtrack to her exhibit of work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on the 25th of December 1954. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to become famous internationally in the 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox launched a solo career, releasing her debut album Diva which yielded numerous successful songs includingWhy andWalking through Broken Glass. Medusa the 1995 studio album, features cover versions of popular tracks like No MoreI Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale.
